This Privacy Policy describes certain information that The Marais (also identified herein as “we” or “us”) collects through The Marais website (“The Marais Site”) and how we use that information. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies solely to our online information-gathering and dissemination practices in connection with The Marais Site, and does not apply to any of our practices conducted offline.

What identifying information do we collect? 

The Marais collects personally identifiable information that you provide to us, knowingly, through any The Marais Site. “Personally identifiable information” or  “Personal Data” refers to information that directly identifies you, such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, company name, title, department, and telephone number. The Marais collects personally identifiable information only when knowingly provided by you while ordering or on online forms or registration forms. For example, you may voluntarily supply us your Personal Data when you take an action such requesting information regarding products sold by The Marais, or otherwise enter your Personal Data on any online form hosted on a The Marais Site.

Do we use cookies? 

Yes, we may use cookies. Non-personally identifiable information is collected through a variety of passive methods, including the use of cookies. Cookies are pieces of information generated by web servers and stored in your computer for future access. We use them to study visitors’ use of The Marais Site and to improve your navigation of it. While The Marais strives to protect your personally-identifiable information and user privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you do so at your own risk. If you wish to review the personally-identifiable information we have on file about you, please send a written request to the Marais, and we will give you payment instructions which is $15 (handling fee).

To honor a request to access, correct, amend or delete personally-identifiable information, you will need to supply information sufficient for us to identify unsolicited communications, if any, you have received from us.
